International Students

Foreign nationals, hereinafter abbreviated as WNA, who come to Indonesia and intend to study at Atma Jaya Yogyakarta University are allowed to enter Indonesia with a Limited Stay Visa (VITAS). The VITAS will be converted into a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) when the foreigner has arrived in Yogyakarta. Foreigners must have a passport with a minimum validity period of 18 months to apply for a 1-year study permit. In general, the permit that every foreigner needs to have to study in Indonesia are as follows.

1.     Study Permit

2.     Limited Stay Permit Visa (VITAS) / Telex Visa

3.     Limited Stay Permit (ITAS)

4.     Multiple Exit Re-Entry Permit (MERP)

5.     Police Report (Surat Tanda Melapor)

6.     Exit Permit Only/EPO

7.     Domicile Certificate (SKD)

8.     Certificate of Residence (SKTT)

 Foreigners who can get a recommendation letter from Vice Rector (WR) I UAJY are those who have paid the full tuition fee.

About Us

The Admissions and Academic Office is a supporting unit within Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta. KAA was formed based on Rector's Decree number 71/HP/2011 concerning Organizational Structure and Description of Functions of the Admission and Academic Office, Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta. KAA consists of the Enrollment Information and Administration Affairs, Academic Affairs, Reporting and Permits Affairs, Test Instruments and Evaluation Affairs.
