Brief Profile
The Admission and Academic Office is a new unit which was previously the Academic and Student Affairs Administration Bureau. Changes were made based on the latest UAJY institutional structure in the context of optimizing and effectiveness of management processes at the university level. KAA was established referring to the Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 5 of 1980 concerning the principles of Organization of State Universities and Institutes, and the Foundation Decree dated March 6, 1986 number 158/Pers/UAJY/III/86 and April 17, 1986 number 159/Per/ Pers/YSR/IV/86 concerning Organizational Structure, Duties and Formation of UAJY Employees with the task of coordinating the Academic Planning and Development, Student Registration and Teaching Sections. Along with developments over time since 2005 with Foundation Decree number 08/HP/2005 concerning the Organizational Structure of the UAJY Administration and Student Affairs Bureau.
Currently, KAA was formed based on Rector's Decree number 71/HP/2011 concerning Organizational Structure and Description of Functions of the Admission and Academic Office of Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta with the addition of a structure based on Rector's Decree Number 73/LA/KEP.ITE/2022 concerning the Test and Evaluation Instruments Section Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta, therfore KAA added 1 (one) more section, namely the Test and Evaluation Instruments Section.
Main Duty
Coordinating Academic Activities, Foreign Student Permits, New Student Admission and Selection as well as preparing Test and Evaluation Instruments.
