CONCERNING DOCUMENTS FOR PROSPECTIVE FOREIGN CITIZEN STUDENTS

CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF VISA RECOMMENDATION LETTER

Q: Can letters be issued in English?
A: Letters of recommendation are only issued in English.

Q: I don't have a passport yet. Can I ask for a visa recommendation letter?
A: Yes, you can.

Q: My travel schedule abroad is uncertain. So I don't know what date I will be there yet.
A: If the exact date of travel is not yet available, then a letter of recommendation cannot be issued.

Q: I am an alumni. I need a visa recommendation.
A: Visa recommendation letters are only given to active students.

Q: How much does the application process cost?
A: No charge.

CONCERNING LEGALIZATION OF ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATES

Q: I'm outside Yogyakarta. Can my friend arrange the legalization for me?
A: Yes, you can.

Q: Can it be legalized via email?
A: Yes, it can.

Q: I need to legalize the BAN PT decree regarding university/study program accreditation. Is there any?
A: The BAN PT Decree can only be legalized by BAN PT in Jakarta. The campus can only provide a photocopy of the PT BAN Decree without legalization.

Q: I need to legalize more than 10. Is that possible?
A: Legalize a maximum of 10 sheets per applicant.

Q: How much does legalization cost?
A: No charge.

CONCERNING STUDENT ID CARD (KTM)

Q: Can Student ID Card replacement payments be made via ATM?
A: KTM is currently in digital form. Please read the following announcement: CLICK HERE.

Q: Can a temporary KTM replacement certificate be used for exams and library entrance?
A: KTM is currently in digital form. Please read the following announcement: CLICK HERE.

Q: I lost my KTM but it has expired, can I get a new one straight away?

Q: Can you delegate KTM replacement arrangements?

CONCERNING ACTIVE STUDY LETTER

Q: How long does the process of making an active study letter take?
A: If the application is submitted before 11.00 a.m., the certificate can be collected on the same day starting at 01.30 p.m.. If the application is submitted after 11.00 a.m., the certificate can be collected on the next working day starting at 10.00 a.m..

Q: Can the active study letter be made in English?
A: Yes. Please write a note in the top right corner of the form “in English”.

Q: Can the active study letter be legalized? 
A: Each application will receive an additional 2 wet stamp copies. If you need more than 3 sheets, please add a note in the top right corner of the form. For example : Please make 5 copies.

Q: I will be taking part in a group competition, which form can we use?
A: Please use form 1A. Each member fills out the form and attaches the requirements, then it is made into one bundle to be submitted.

Q: What is the difference between forms 1A and 1B?
A: Form 1A is for submitting an active study letter for general purposes. Form 1B is for submitting an active study letter to complete the files at the parent office specifically for civil servants/Indonesian army/Indonesian police.

Q: I have judicially declared but haven't graduated yet, can I still apply for the active study letter?
A: No.

Q: Does the active study letter have a validity period?
A: Yes. The validity period of the letter is 1 semester.

Q: Can I be represented for submitting and collecting letters?
A: Yes, you can.

The Admissions and Academic Office is a supporting unit within Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta. KAA was formed based on Rector's Decree number 71/HP/2011 concerning Organizational Structure and Description of Functions of the Admission and Academic Office, Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta. KAA consists of the Enrollment Information and Administration Affairs, Academic Affairs, Reporting and Permits Affairs, Test Instruments and Evaluation Affairs.
